The MODX 70 is a 21.33-metre, 10-metre-beam electric catamaran from the French builder MODX, combining a 250 kWh battery bank and 80 kW of electric propulsion with roughly 70 square metres of solar panels, retractable Aeroforce automated wing sails and hydrogeneration under way. It is laid out in five cabins for up to twelve people, with a quoted 15-knot top speed and 110 nautical miles of range under motor at 5 knots. The boat shown at Cannes in 2026 is a prototype rather than a production vessel, and MODX publishes no price.
